No real benifit other than reduced wear on the valve guides...the washers came with my 1.5 roller rockers..never used them all on the other engine soooo...but im sure any washer that fits on the shaft would do..

Wee bit of an update engine is sitting covered in a towel waiting for a nice shiny engine bay unfortunately once you start you uncover some nasty ****

Plan is to prep the bay area ready for some stone chip and black paint, will put in new subframe mounts and tidy up ancillary components, wiring etc.

Bodywork especially passenger side is dreadful (driver side looks like it has been done judging by the crap paint job on the wing) going to get rid of rust protect whats left and probably weld plates on to strengthing until i can do a proper job on the bodywork with new paintjob.

Yeah.....that needs a new front end by the looks of things. Might be better to get it done now, seeing as the engine is out anyway. There is always something to fix on minis....Usually rust!!
