Thats not a metro, it's a rover 114, LOL!

On a serious note, I have a 160 vvc with ecu, wiring, etc in my shed at home, and at the moment im toying between getting a mini or a metro for that engine to go in, both cars are crap though.

Ive just bought a Mk2 tro as my next project, got it on friday, already ripped the engine out and debumpered it.. now to drop the K series in.

Metros are rubbish. Especially ones with white wheels. That are Rover 114s.

some might say mini's are rubbish so depends on what you into ;D

I had a metro a couple of years ago.....

First we made it into a pick up

Then gave it some paint

Then we tried to work on it by rolling it on its side

That resulted in the roof caving in so we had to turn it into a convertible

it then continued to run for another year! Best car ever and it has made me want one :) Sadly it did give up in the end.

After welding up that blue rover100 pictured above, and inspecting my austin metro for rot, they have both rotten in identical places, there fore equally as awe full.

They're what the Mini used to be... cheap and fun little cars... they break, like Minis... and like you could with Minis, go to any scrappy and they have 3 or 4 readily available to steal bits from.

I love my Tro, I wouldnt swap it for a Mini, especially one with a boot. How awe full. :wacko:
