Brooklands had 1035 Minis on the Museum site and well over 4,000 people attending this years event.
....... and one Mini outside (for most of the show anyway)

this may seem like a stupid question; but is the hill free once you've paid to get in?
You had to apply for an application to run up the Test hill by emailing [email protected] before. You might have bin able to sign up on the day but i dont know for sure if it was free or not

i like the bit about bmw types being welcome... cant they have there own brooklands event .. i thought this was for real minis ..?
All Minis/MINI's are welcome.......I know the organiser of Brooklands Mini Day and they especially welcome BMW MINI's and this year have invited the local MINI Dealer Cooper Cobham to display the recently launched MINI Roadster.
There will also be a large display stand of fellow MINI owners from Brooklands local MINI enthusiasts club 'Surrey New MINI' who get invited back every year by the organisers and compete in the MINI show N' shine classes. All the big event organisers know that MINI owners also play a part in keeping shows financially viable for the long term future. As a long time member of the MCR I know that the Beaulieu Mini Day relies on getting maximum number of cars/people through the ticket gate to be viable and MINI's are an increasingly important part of that.
Remember the Clocks change Saturday night 1 hour forward!
just keep them away from us!
