I would say for any good solid 80's mini like yours around £1500 - £1600
£1100 would get maybe one that is on the road but needs welding or work for the next MOT, which yours is not as it looks in good nick.

AND is limited edition!

In Mini terms, £1100 gets you a rusty wreck these days with extensive welding needed in addition to possible engine work and suspension work.
If your car is rust-free and has done only 5700 miles that's a big plus. Haggle for around £2k, then buy the salvage and re-build it.

My advice is to not settle for less than £2000 as you won't buy another for less than that in even reasonable condition. If they try to beat you down, ask them to find one in as good a condition as yours and buy that for you. Tell them you'll sue if they don't make an offer that would enable you to replace like-with-like. They'll pay rather than risk going to small claims court.

Insurance payouts tend to be based on trade in value, not to put you into the position you were prior to the accident. Found that out many years ago to my cost....

Can you find any similar examples for sale to support an increase?
