i have managed 60 MPG trundling along (55-60 MPH) on the motorway behind our camper van

Single figures when out playing. But it was a few years ago when petrol was fairly cheap. Another reason i am pleased its sold.

thats me usually with the white gold and silver starlet :) green mini! sometimes down the seafront too. thought i recognised your car in the dp, glad to see another local one :)

ahh cool cool :) I recognize yours by the roof rack :') is that a bolted on? or just mounted by the outta edge of the roof? :)

I can get to Wales on a single tank and still with a little left over, and that's around 150 miles.

naa just bolted, bolts round the lip, then bolts down, more than welcome to come have a look, i've got a mk1 racer too! but that rarely comes out play lol

get yourself down to southend mini action group or essex mini club, they doo 1 or 2 meets a month. you planning on going to london to brighton?

On a good run I could do the 180 miles from my parents in Northampton to my house in Cardiff with some fuel left in the tank of my MPi. It likes motorways :)

What it doesn't like is stop start traffic with a faulty diff and lambda sensor. So it's not giving very good economy at the moment!

Oh dear i remember the days of a faulty lambda....When i had a 2.5 st focus it seemed to do better than my old mini haha

It's being sorted while the gearbox is changed this week. I couldn't get it out with the cheap socket I bought! Hopefully I'll be spending less time in the petrol station when she's back!
