I think the chinese cars will do well tho, buy a car for £4000 and keep it for 3 years no mot's or anything like that, even if you scrap it after that a new cars gonna lose that much soon as you buy it... if i wanted a cheap run around id be tempted

I've had my astra for 3 years now. Bought for £400, spent about £600 on services, mots and a new engine when the last one went bang. I am better off than buying that Chinese rubbish and I bet my astra is far nicer to drive. Probably easier to get parts for when needed as well as Vauxhall/Opel are European car manufacturers. You would still have to service the Chinese car even if you don't have to mot it.

As for which looks best between the BMW mini and Chinese rip off, I couldn't care less as I won't be buying ether.

i reckon its great that BMW haven’t managed to get it stopped from being manufactured! Serves them right shutting down all the Mini orientated business'!

i think thats a little harsh on BMW i'm not the biggest fan of the BINI buuuuuut they have done alot to promote the 'mini' brand whether the new or old styles. i must admit i have only recently started thinking in this frame of mind but once you start reading around BMW was probably the best thing to happen to mini really. it was a stagnant design (dont get me wrong the best stagnant design of all time) BUT it needed to be updated and thats whats happend And people can argue all they want BUT you can still tell a BINI and mini are closely related.

well business is business if you buy a brand for alot of cash and people are making money off your brand without paying you anything. you take legal action. pretty standard stuff really

i'm under the impression you do not know all that much about what BMW have done for the classic mini. i Suggest you go and read a little more then come back with a more education evaluation.

your sounding like these guys.
