think the tank is about 7.5 - 8 gallon, its an optional bigger tank than what they normaly supply with the kits.
measures just under 450 x 450 x 190 on the outside.

yes they do A series frame that is basicly the same as this, is shown on the Video they sent me

not yet, just got back from visiting the folks in Essex, and not sure if the misses will let me get it in before new year :) , as we've got a few job's to get done on the house. but then again she will want it out of the front room, before she starts child minding again in the new year, so might just have a chance.

Have you fitted the new front frame yet? Has it improved 60+mph handling?

started fitting the Z cars front subframe, not finished it yet. i think my front end might be abit on the p155, as alignment is out a bit.

Oow, will defiantly have to say if it solves the problem, are you going to get the suspension setup or should it be ok/already setup with that subframe? Guessing the front and rear toe will need setting at least?

Had mine up to about 80 and it was quite light steering (same as about 60), but no vibrations after changing the rear bolts from 12mm to 1/2".

Any further plans once the subframe is on? or anything left to finish or adjust?

Ed

The subframe does make the car feel better on the road, and it’s not been setup yet. :proud:

After a couple of days use fuel pump packed up due to a bit of ally swarf from the new fuel tank getting in it. i knew i should have swilled it out first.

Few days later the ECU packed up, due to coolant getting in it when i was getting air out of the system, ECU was right next to the header tank.

So now’s the time to get a Megasquirt ECU, and i can ditch a lot of the old rover kit that’s known to be temperamental in there old age. Also the advance of the dizzy isn’t that good, so i can lock that off and control that with the Megasquirt as well.

just waiting for it to turn up..

Cool, what version of MS are you going for, and what features you planning?
are you going to run 2 WBO sensors or just one? or even a NB? :proud:

I'm getting MSnS v3. just going to go for NB sensor for now, this really was not a planned expense at this point, as i'm planning on spending £200 on another R/C airplane next month.

www.extraefi.co.uk

just going for a dizzy based setup, not bothered about coil packs ect. i just want to get the cars running reliably and smoothly.

must admit i'm getting bored with it now, just dont have time or motivation for it. you think its going somewhere and somthing else goes wrong. but i know id never get the time or money back on it. quite fancy a basic clubby estate now

:proud: I kinda know what you mean, after everything i sometimes wish i had stuck with an A series (especially after i found out what some/most of the problems i had with it where!!!) and a standard car as parts are easier to get and replace.
