Since it got the car tuned its been sitting in the garage gathering dust (probably rust too....its a mini after all)  I have been running it for 30mins - 1 hour each week, but its not been on the road much.

So I drove it around the block today, still works great and I definitely had a massive grin on my face. I did realise about halfway around that the MOT recently ran out so I quickly put it away again, will be taking around next week to get tested. Considering its only done 40-ish miles since the last MOT I am not too worried of failure.

Now its back in the garage, after a oil change, and I am starting to think do I really need the car or should I let it go to someone who is going to get more out of it?

I lack the correct number of posts to put this in the classifieds, so if you read this and are interested in the car PM me!!

Just read the entire thread, sweet work dude. Very nice Clubman. It'd be a shame to sell it but 40 miles in a year is a good enough reason I suppose....At least you'll get a shed load of wonga for it :)

Last weekend I took the Mini to show at Himley Hall, Dudley.....which also happens to be 5 mins from my moms house!

A total of just short of 400 mile round trip. So drove from Hull to Oakham, stayed a night, then to Dudley!

Spend a few hours at the show, some really nice cars on show.

Then drove Dudley to Marlock, another night in a hotel, then back to home.....The car made the journey fine, the radiator started leaking at the end, but thats since been replaced.

And then I went car shopping yesterday......might have been an impluse buy!!

I made my mind up the other day and have decided to put the Mini up for sale. I have put it in the usual places, ebay, pistonheads and carandclassics....I would put it on here but I don't have enough posts.

http://www.ebay.co.u...-/191563312051?

Yes, I know the price is quite high, but its a starting point for bartering!! And if I get no interest I drive it around for another summer.....win win really!

Shame it's not a GT you'd get that easily. Still a bargain for someone with all the work carried out. Good luck.

Well thats the Mini sold, got the price I wanted and hopefully the guy I sold it too will drive it and use it as it should be!

For a grand total of £200 I have replaced the Mini with....

Cheaper, more modern and they can still be found in scrap yards to get cheap parts. I does have the same amount of rust as a Rover mini thought!!!
