I still get ridiculously over excited- normally a few beeps of the horn followed by flashing headlights and spots and waving erratically. If you see a mini driver looking like a fool, it's probably me :)

i miss getting a mini wave now ive passed on mine. It always depended. some didnt do it but you just get on with it. I got used to seeing the same ones in my area so i knew who to wave to and who not

I always flash lights & wave not only at minis but other classic cars, usually get a response
Didnt see you at Thoresby though
Ahhh… we didn't get there until around 12pm… a lot of people seemed to be leaving already!
We managed to upset an Merc SLK on the way home by having the cheek to overtake it …definitely worth the trip just for the look on their faces!

It's a condition of mini ownership that you have to wave and flash if at all safe to do so :) Anyone who doesn't is breaking the rules. Bad luck on managing to find three rule breakers on one day
