if the repair cost will run into the 0000's is it not worth just getting a heritage shell ? that way the restoration is largely done, perfect body ...
but if the original can be fixed its a rock and a hard place ! enjoy the decision

You could spend all the money in the world on a new shell and slap the same reg on it but it will never be the same Mini that Simon loves and is passionate about ^^
Craigs right, re-shell a car you love and it takes the heart right out of it. I'd never shell a car I cared about.
