Is your idle speed high?

I'm having similar problems and mine is high. What does this indicate?

It indicates that you need to adjust the idle speed to the correct figure.

It was idling around 800. The clutch started slipping about a fortnight ago, so I tried adjusting today without much joy and notice that revs are up on idle. Probably a coincidence.

Anyway, I've read a few comments that the arm should move freely by hand, but mine won't budge a millimetre by hand.
