Just rebuilding mine at present - I used sacrificial bolts in the threads when powder coating and run a tap through after.
Your hard brake lines look a little odd - the bends look too acute. Have got the originals to compare?

Thanks they are the ones that were supplied with the back plates. They look a lot more acute in the pics than they actually are. Unfortunatly I don't have anything to compare them to

The flexy lines normally come from the top of the solid bit that goes from the back plate to the top of the radius arm and into the the top corner of the subframe.
Slight hard to explain with out a picture....

I'm running goodridge hoses from the wheel cylinder to the subframe as 1 pipe the copper pipe just runs from the t peace along the back of the frame if that makes sense
