I never said I could. There are many other artists who can sing and play instruments far better than any of the Beatles. But for some reason the Beatles are extremely over rated - in my opinion

I feel exactly the same. None of them could sing or play an instrument very well. And the songs are just boring and meaning less.

LOL! please. You have to be kidding >_<

i understand it all now they are all 6 years old, what the hell are they doing with a mini

Sorry if I offended anyone but that's my opinion. And the only thing Ringo's playing hads was bad timing

I dont think your opinion matters enough to have offended anybody... Ringo was an utter legend, everybody slates him for having 'bad timing' or whatever, but do you really think they'd be as huge as they were if they he had 'bad timing'. He came from simple merseyside music... you dont have to be flash or amazing to be a solid drummer

You'll never win with everyone, I'm a big Deep Purple fan and get very confused when people say their "over rated" or "rubbish" because they don't see them the same way I do. Music would be very boring if people liked the same thing!

Oh and why doesn't my opinion matter enough ? This is a discussion. If nobody had an opinion it would be a crap discussion. This thread clearly wouldn't have been started if I was the only one who didn't get the Beatle hype.

However I have plenty of stuff by the Stones, The Kinks, The Animals, The Yardbirds, Cream, Hendrix, Floyd, The Doors etc etc. I think the Beatles are pretty dull and are very very over rated. Also if the Beatles were so good why were Wings such crap?

I've never had a copy of The Wall as it was a load of crap. I do have pretty much the rest of their stuff though including Dark Side of the Moon, which was the in the Billboard 100 for years and years and years.
If you want to hear what propper psycodelic music sounds like then go and listen to Saucerful of Secrets and Piper at the Gates of Dawn. They're miles better than that cod psycodellia call Sgt Peppers old farts band.

How the hell can you say my opinion dosen't count. Mabey your opinion about my opinion dosen't count. Also if others didnt have a similar opinion this thread wouldnt have been started.
Anyway that's me done. I think this topic should be locked as its just becoming one big argument.
