Got back to Germany yesterday and took her blanket off. Greeted by all the electrics disconnected and the radiator still on the floor. Obviously the fairys didn't do their job while I was away.

So started on the loom again, there is soo much bodged electrics going on here, so out came the snips...

This is all the parts still to fit, mostly bought back from the UK..
-Bottom hose
-Headlining
-Shoes for radiator
-Slogan for rear screen
Then once I have the flip front...
-Brace bars
-Headlight bowls
-Indicator grommets
-Reverse hinges and gas struts
-Bonnet stripes/ all new cooper decal set
Oh and her show plate

Back on the road. Dodgy fuel cut off switch loom was the problem.

Took her for a spin after refitting the grille just to petrol station to put air in tyres and came to the decision that the 13 year old rear tyres need changing. 4 x Yokohama A539 175/50 R13.
Only one in the whole of Germany so will have to order from minispares and get someone to bring them over.

Cant get any Yokohamas so just ordered 2 x Dunlop sports for now.

More parts ordered today, gonna be a heavy bag on the plane:
-Replacement front clear indicator
-New grille screws
-New headlight surrounds
-Both rear light units complete
-Fuel filter MPi style
-Stainless valve caps
Just need to get back to her to fit it all.
