Just a quick update for you all. I'm now just under £290 away from paying the bill off. I just need an extra £76.50 for 6 months tax and some petrol money to get me home and then to work and back for the week afterwards.

I prophesise me driving it again on December 1st. :D It's been a long time coming but I'm finally almost there. I would get it back next week if I didn't have rent to pay.

Haha, so far, touch wood, I've never been caught speeding. :D I don't plan on starting any time soon, either!

Heh it'll be completely legal for another 6 months, at least!

Short-term plan afterwards is to buy some second-hand wheels and get myself some mud & snow tyres. Then when we're forecast some imminent snow, I'll swap the wheels over with the M&S tyres on.

Then it's upgrade PC time, then upgrade bits and pieces of the car.

Well I have it back now, sorta. It's not running very well. Just dies when it gets to it's idle speed.

Just around the corner from Minispeed at the petrol station as I needed to put some in. Not too sure what to do...

The carb has been swapped over I believe. Or at least the jet has. Wasn't running great when I left it there but it's even worse now. :/

Might go round and see them in a bit.

They might've adjusted it to get the emissions down for the MoT. Using a bit more choke will help, but take it back since you paid them to do a job.

I fixed it myself at the petrol station. Adjusted the idle speed so it idles faster. Wasn't even starting on choke. Just turning over.

A tune is on the cards but that won't be until early next year now.

Next job is to either fix the oil leak, or get new tyres all round. When both of them are done, it's dyno time. At least I have my car back now and it's road legal.
