rosey rosey rose joints! ( actually had to spend ages with the column in a lathe sanding it down 0.26mm becuase i couldnt find 9/16 rose joints. only 14mm!!

brackets to the weber box and to the pedal box. all triangulated and strong 8)

done work to the front end. layed loads of matting inside and used some filler stuff that had matting stands in it to rebuild the arches. proper strong. also made up the hinging mechanism.. :P

no more pics of that though untill i get the right pip pins for it to make it work! :D

new job. make a custom gear linkage. need it to be further back because of how far back the drivers seat is! think F5000 old F1 style.

As for your linkage id do a rose joints internal jobby like the polished alloy one in the spyker c8 super car mmmmmm very nice that'ed be :wub:

Hah that wheel is awsome:P. too small and heavy for me though.. Got a nice moto lita one going on!
Give me some time! I'm ok for the moment the garage next door (rents a little space from our plot) has one. But I still want my own!!

The C8 gear linkage is pretty much what I am doing. Just the other way around! Got a bit of Maths and figurin to do before hand but il get there and it will be super slick and have a stupidly short throw! Quick shift eat your heart out;)

Great build and really like the steering column. I've fitted a uj to mine but down at the floor to help to get the wheel to the middle of the seat. Its ok but not completly happy with it. I might even try what you've done, looks good!

Haha no worries buddy, more than happy for people to take the idea.

I will be re making my column soon with CDS tubing and a slightly different bracket
