Fantastic work. Slightly off topic but do you have any pics of your GT on the forum. Would love to see some pics of the whole car.

cheers bud 8 )

bit o progress.. you know that bootfloor i just welded in.. yeah...

hmm. i cut it out.

Posted Image

you read right.

i cut it out and started making some angle bracketing to hold the floor in

Posted Image

note 60 degree angle steel to get angle right

Posted Image

left side in and welded up

Posted Image

Posted Image

smooth as ass.

childish test fit

Posted Image

ally floor

Posted Image

Posted Image

will have a hell of a lot more rivets in it when its in for good. this is just so i could make templates for the holes at the front.

then some patching

Posted Image

Posted Image

obviously by no means finished. you can still see i have replaced it! cant be having that!

next up, works dash!

Cant you buy corner arch repair sections ? would reduce the ammount of filler needed, although if its track based a few bump & bangs are gonna occur anyways.

i have a grp one next to it! i wanted to keep the metalwork fabrication feel to the car so i made it from ally. not fussed about weight, although it is bloody light! also needed to mount the tank low and central.
