You have to admire the amount of effort that's involved in taking a genuine Mk I like this and then sourcing and fitting every last late 80's/early 90's component to make it into what you see here. I mean look at the attention to detail here, it's correct right the way down to the under dash rail Rover stereo that doesn't actually work!!

Yeah it is false advertising it's just a late car with an old licence plate!

The police are only interested in vehicle identity crime that's related to stolen vehicles, as this is probably just a potential case of vehicle identity crime in relation to road tax fraud, then it's DVLA you need to inform. They have the power to seize the car and crush it if they find it to have a reassigned identity and can also bring charges for road tax evasion. You can also report it to Ebay as a fraudulent listing as they have the power to remove the listing if they consider it to not be the 1961 Morris model that it's described as.

I have reported the listing to eBay and will phone them tomorrow.
I checked on my car check, according to that the car doesn't exist. Odd for a car thats "Used daily". My car's been off the road for 7 year and is recognised on My car check?
