Here is my Vmax Scart built engine and sc, also fitted Mega Jolt using MED's pulley and pickup. Still running it in, but would be keen to see what I can do about the intake pipe / carb freezing up! The head is an SPI and so both heater hoses are on the rad side of engine, I would like to use the regular heater take off on the transfer case side of engine and do something with copper pipe. Or I could use some form of electic heater in the air filter.

I'm going to try the copper pipe idea as I can't weld
But I was thinking of wrapping the copper pipe withe exhaust wrap to keep the heat it better

I am well happy with it though! It did stop the other morning when it was very early, 5am, freezing and a bit foggy. It was probably 2nd time in use in anger, eventually limped it home, but since then its never done it at all, but also I have not taken it out in such cold / misty conditions so there could be a pattern! Not sure what the actual issue was though.

Here's mine:
I added a little enclosed heating element into the air filter and mounted a switch under the dash. Works really well, never had any problems with the throat of the carb icing up since fitting it.
Cheers,
Jon.

He used something that looked exactly the same as this.
Neat and tidy and worked very well.

It was an enclosed heating element from RS Components. I can't remember the exact model number but I'm sure a search on here would help find it. I'll have a look otherwise.
Yeah it is, it developed a small air leak from a small gap in the weld of one of the intake runners. I bought a length of steel bar from B & Q and made this (and sprayed it silver). All the force from the supercharger was just being held by the welds and the manifold studs. It just helps spread the load.
Cheers,
Jon.
