Wow. That's nice shiney copper!A thread revival.
I have been watching various heater element ideas and came up with this which works a treat.

Ash what's in in? Also was the rad an improvement?
Sorry for the late reply. The engine is a 1310cc with a big valve ported head, Re13t camshaft with 1.5 ratio forged rockers, Megajolt ignition, 4 synchro remote box with a cross pin diff & grey dot clutch. All in a good recipe for fun ( all mounted in a Morris 1100), or at least it was fun before I sold it. Building a Turbo Mini now. Radiator was only a slight improvement, ended up running a heater core as a second radiator from the heater take off.

Was that pic taken mid cooling system build or were you running no fan and no rad cowling?

How the fueling I guess thats the issue? The charger isn't pushing the fuel into the head?
Issue is that the injectors are too upright and therefore spraying the walls of the inlet tube at low revs. High revs is ok as the forced air is dragging the fuel through before it can hit the walls.
We are getting around it by using the 3rd injector before the charger for low revs and idling then having the other two phase in at a certain boost level.
Is working ok so far but yet to go on the dyno for a true test under load throughout the rev range. I should find out if it's ok or not next week.
