I live in essex, so pretty much all the girls are driving a new MINI; Personally I wouldn't flash a MINI not because I have anything against them but because I don't think the owner community is quite as existant and friendly (nerdy) as the classic community.

i wouldn't flash a BINI unless it flashed first. but i do flash most classics and when im driving my old landy any old car has a mutual appreciation for the age of car choice

I see loads of classic Mini's when out in the daily driver, but don't see any when in the Mini! I was once out in the moggy when an old boy on the pavement saw me coming down the road, he stood to attention and saluted as I drove passed. Funnily enough, classic Mini drivers flash and wave my moggy.

Why bother flashing a Bini when all your gonna get back is a weird ' what the F ' look? I get that enough times when flashing actual Minis near me....

Most Manchester mini owners must be miserable! I flash at the odd ones I see when i'm out in the mini and get nothing back

It depends how far your going with that as an air cooled VW camper,looks very similar to the new ones they have from Brazil. Or do you mean Type 2 vs T25, T4... and other VW's

I think the Vw scene is just more accepting as there is not just one VW made, whereas there is just 'one classic mini made'

I like the new Mini however I probably wouldn't flash one unless they flashed me.

When the BINI first came out there was a section on the BINI website about owning a mini. One of the many bold statements was that other mini owners will flash you, and not to worry they are just being friendly and it what mini onwers do.

I don't think there is as we've got a 1968 Westfalia camper and we get T2's T25's T4's waving and if you go to shows its all one big community.

I never falsh a Bini but I would flash back if they flashed first because it might mean that they own a classic mini and use the Bini as their daily. I flash to other classic car owners and they tend to flash back most the time.
