far as my insurers know its all standard...

I'm not sure that it's a good idea to more-or-less admit insurance fraud on a public forum.

I'm 17 and i drive a 1983 998cc Austin Mini City E which is completely standard.

I've been looking for insurance and the cheapest quote i got was for £2400 with Adrian Flux, however my friend, (driving a 1995 Mini sidewalk 1275 injection) has got insurance with the same company for £1500 ish. Why the massive price difference? I would just like to add that the car is the only cause of the price difference! (As he tried to insure my car with all his details but the only difference was the car) Help?
:(

I'm 43, with one year's driving experience. (I came to all this very late!)

I went for Performance Direct, as they were the cheapest on comparethemarket.com

I have a 1986 Mini Mayfair, 1L

I paid £203 fully comprehensive for one year. (My old 2008 Ford Focus cost me £720!)
