Mine looks the way it does because i have no money to rectify all the silly little marks, and havnt the time to respray the god awful paintwork from the former owner.

fixed where needed so shes sound, just an ugly beast.. then again in my area shes getting known as 'the shi..ty looking mini' :/

666Junky are you Nikki from the EMC by any chance? Havn't seen your Mini up the club meets yet, but I assuming you know Jade Rivers? Her Mini was proper ratlook, but she's got it all back to standard now, such a transformation! I loved her rat look Mini lol. Also Ricks one, only saw that in the metal the other day, lot of money spent on that to make it rat look :P

This is what i'm looking at buying but keeping it and maintaining the look of it as it is rather than a resto 1980 1100 clubby

Ah thought so! Lol I barely get up there, hoping Dan fixes my Sheldon this Sunday so I can go to the last meet this year :proud: Ah was that the castle with the tunnel? If so I went to that one! Lol yeah, Scott saw mine and just laughed at the oversills lol.
Haha yeah I love his esate and his Ratty MPi, Kentons estate is pretty Ratty too, now that I love!

Anyway back on topic, I do like rat look cars, but I prefer patina rat look. There's a show on Discovery called Fast N' Loud, the guys on there buy and part restore proper ratted americana! There was one 1950 Oldsmobile Coupe that frankly was the dogs danglees! They basically got a shell with proper patina, laqured over it to keep the look, dropped in a bigger motor and added some white walls. Looks gorgeous!

It looks great on some Minis, just not ones that have over done it. A barn find Mini with solid panels and a bit of surface rust is right up my alley!

Yeah thats pretty much what the clubby is, found in an old lady's garage, got it mechanically safe and through an MOT and thats it, sold with T&T as a roling project. For me its a finished project hahaha

He looks like crap but has a fruity 1015cc lump that makes about 68bhp, drum brakes and is taxed and mot'd!

One day I'll restore him properly!!
