Thanks :D

The bushes and stuff came today, so I can start putting the column back together... just waiting on the drop bracket now :gimme:

FWAAAAAAH. If my thirty looked like that I'd be cleaning that everyday, immaculate paintwork. Lovely lovely mini. I'll be following THIS!

Firstly, sorry for the lack of updates, although I did warn you it'd be pretty boring  :proud:

After a heck of a lot of swearing (and I mean a lot) >_< , the new drop bracket is on along with the column.... I've just got to get the last few bits done over the weekend then he's back!.... And about time too

Oh and the postie came today with a nice little pressie, but as posties do, he decided to come when no one was in... booooooo!! >_<

I've been wanting to ditch the old chrome door scoop things for a while now. I'd been looking at the the Carbon Weezel ones but couldn't justify spending £40 on some door scoops, so I ended up going for some Arc Angel ones, as they were nearly a quarter of the price. Although they aren't perfect, and not to everyone's taste, but they're miles better than the tacky chrome ones that are on at the minute. They took long enough to come mind, I was supposed to pick them up at Bingley O_O .

Oh and Vinnie has a steering wheel again :proud: :gimme:

Yep they're much better, they've got a few blemishes in them, but I don't think they'll be noticeable when they're on the car....

It's probably just me being too much of a perfectionist >_<

Do you have any spacers on your wheels? Only your 6x12's line up really well with those group 2's :gimme:

Gave him a nice wash today, and he's all clean again

I also fitted the door scoop thingys which I'm not quite sure whether they look right.... maybe it's just because it looks different. Anyway I hope they grow on me :P (I'll put some pictures up tomorrow, as it was too dark when I had finished).

The steering is much better now, no play at all, and with the JB drop bracket fitted there is pretty much zero shake and wobble :gimme:. I can't recommend them enough really, definitely worth the money :proud: even if it was a bit of a pig to fit.

I'm hoping to get round to either an enhancement or correction detail either this weekend or next weekend depending on how much time I have. The wax needs topping up as well, so it's a good opportunity to take out some of the swirls that have appeared  . Still, with the DA it should be pretty easy :-)

I run 10mm spacers all round, I find that without, the wheels look a tad lost in the arches

Absolutely gorgeous, and tasteful too! The 30 is my favourite special edition after the 1100 special rose from 1981 (with those amazing alloys). I know of an unloved one parked up for the last 10 years round the corner from me. May have to give them a call...

Well, I treated him to an enhancement detail today

I'm very impressed with the durability of Rainforest Rub, before today it was last topped up mid November, and had lasted getting on for four months through winter :proud:

Here's one of the door scoop things, it's a crap picture though for some reason... They have grown on me, and you don't see many minis with them on, which is a good thing I think?

I think the door scoops would look better if you had black handles
