me and my mate were racing and a bmw m3 convertable overtook us but about half a mile later we overtook him late braking for a round about he then tried to keep up round back roads, but didnt really stand a chance hehe

i outhandled a fiesta st around 2 corners and kept up with it around a roundabout at about 45, not bad for a minivan with standard suspension and poo camac tyres!! )

Beet a old landrover, first thing thats tried to race us lol Luckily my dad knew the road. Best landrover diver ive ever seen though ! was all over the place on the corners but wouldn't give up !

Then why have you fitted a 1380 with all the other suspention mods as well, oh and if you use it for track days then list your conquests its not meant to be chavy just a bit interested as to what a well tunned A series (or the Z-Cars) can give a run for there money.

going back a few years (late 80's) in my 1380, i used to keep up with my mates XR3i, and would loose him easy on the lanes.

best one was my mate in his mini 1293, at the lights getting some abuse from a metro turbo, ended with the metro giving it all on green then coming to a stand still with a blow turbo. me and my mate just slowly pulled off to the left laughing as we was in a filter lane anyway, so couldnt have raced if we wanted to

i didnt say i dont like to drive fast on the road (within the conditions and law), im saying racing on public roads is the kind of thing id expect from a chav'd up saxo/nova/clio etc.
