I personally think 12s banded would look a bit too big for my personal liking, I like small wide wheels plus it isnt cheap getting them done!

FYI what mine will be rocking in a few weeks when the group buy on brakes is done and I have tyres fitted

If you want to go for Banded steels, I used JamesP on retro rides, for 12's he's be after £40 a wheel, top quality work but can take a little while. I wouldn't go for a 1" band, you'd hardly notice it. also keep in mind, that even with just a 1" band that you'll need to go for 165's

You could always hunt out a set of hilman Imp 12" steels as they have less offset (so poke a bit more) but only 4.5" wide so you can still run 145's.

Yep, Imps are 4x4" too, and they have a chrome hubcap if thats the look your after :)

Yep, Imps are 4x4" too, and they have a chrome hubcap if thats the look your after :)

Not after the hubcaps, I just like the look of black wideish steel wheels =] And just looked on ebay for them, nowt has come up :/

I wouldnt mind some 5 wide steelies for my mini, I believe the Hillman Imp came with 12x5 and the PCD is the same as mini?
