O/S rear arch looks very good, the N/S has a little bit near the sill, but certainly not bad. It looks fairly solid from what I've seen so far, and only got 95k ish on the clock. :highfive:

Nice one!

Is it a Merit or an LS?

I hear you guys have a lot of these in the UK. I wish we got the wagon version here in North America.

Nice! You have great taste in cars :D are those Rado grey wheels? '14?

I put 6500 miles on the recaros in the first month of owning it, they have defintiely broken in well.
I drove from Vanoucver BC, through Portland, SF, LA, Vegas, a whoooole lotta nothin', Chicago, [insert huge snowstorm], New York [insert people attempting to get in my car thinking I was a taxi], Boston and finally Montreal. Stayed there for a year then moved back west.

It took me 10 years to barely put 8,000 miles on the mini. Going from that to this was like discovering warp drive.

Those new focus' in that yellow are really quite nice!

Maybe it's my mini intuition, I went for the most jelly bean color.

Apparently, Focus people call multiples of Focus Foci (like octopi).

Yes, it has the Rado Gray wheels and it is a 14. And yes, it feels like discovering Warp drive after a 2002 Elantra (and Mini but it still feels special). One thing I definitely like that I did to mine was to add the gas pedal spacer, to bring the pedal up and levelled with the brake pedal. I have yet too see an ST in person with the Tangerine Scream paint. Your picture looks fantastic! The taxi thing, its hilarious.

I have a work trip tomorrow and the hire car is an Audi A3, unfortunately just a 1.6 Diesel. My first thoughts are that it is quite nice inside, and well specced with the Sat Nav etc.. I think it is going to be a perfectly nice car for anyone to get around in, but not a particularly amazing car for having fun in. We will see. Certainly better than the Vauxhall Mokka I was given before! Edit: A quick spec on the Audi website suggests it would cost £23325 OTR. I already know there is no way I would spend over £20k on an Audi A3!

When I was driving to work this morning. I realised that I have not spent more than £800 on a car, other than minis, which I have done twice - which includes 7 different cars, one of which I got for one euro!

I've seen 5 black ones, 3 yellow ones, 1 red, and 1 white. I have yet to see a blue or a silver. These things are pretty rare.

I installed a pedal spacer too, from garageline. I'm still better at heeltoeing in the mini. The problem I have is the brake pedal is too soft and touchy on the focus. It's easier for me in the mini to just step on the brake and adjust with the pressure rather than with the travel of the pedal like in the focus.

My favorite mod(s) on the car is my shifter set up. Short shift, short shift arm bracket, solid bushings and weighted shift knob. All from boomba racing aside from the shifter bracket which was from Cobb. I installed those one at a time so I felt their individual improvements. If you don't like shortening the shift, the solid bushing and the weighted shift knob alone already makes a big difference in shift feel.
