Hi all,

My  2008 Cooper D will turn the engine but will not start.

There are no warning lights whatsoever.

Its full of fuel.

Funny thing is the headlights will not work and there is a bizzing noise coming from the left hand side of the engine when you either try to use the start button which lasts for maybe a minute after the engine stops turning, 

not a relay clicking noise.

I hope there is enough info there to point me in the right direction as the closest Mini garage is 90mins away are not to helpful.

On the newer cars you need to get a code read and see whats the fault codes show up, there are far to many things to just suggest on the cars now where the ECU is in change of if it starts or not
