After reading quite a few threads here on the forum it is time to ask for some help.

 

I have a mini saloon with an engine from a austin allegro 1300.

When I replace / fill up oil to the MAX it starts to leaking oil until the level is back down to MIN.

Even if I turn on and leave it without starting the engine so flows all over MIN out :-/

I think it's on the right side (clutch side) that the oil comes out ..

 

Jag har inte problem med slirande koppling eller något annat (just nu), just oil leak..

 

Anyone any suggestions on where to start?

Get some engine degreaser and give it all a good clean so that you can see where the oil is coming out1

clean up and look for it coming out, a lot of people will tell you things like they were made with leaks, drip tray on display floor, specially designed to show if you have oil in your car and to stop the subframe rusting... it depends how long it takes for it to leak out, mine used to have a slow leak but a full seal and gasket change fixed that

As above, clean throughoutly and inspect for leaks. The clutch might not slip if the oil escapes thru primary gear bushes having too big play, as I had found.
