Thanks Rocket..
The covers that were there are still pretty good.. thats half the job done!! The foam isnt that hard to do... I did a double layer of foam on the back so the people sitting in the back seat dont have the springs of the seat digging into them... it all fits under the original trim too...

Prettied things up a little today...
So hard to find some paint!!! Ended up getting some mixed up... took the rocker cover in and went a little darker... It looks very green in the pic but its not that bright...
Got some fresh battery cables and fitting them with an isolation switch in the boot...
Waiting for a box of goodies to arrive but in the meantime, I will start putting the engine back together again..

Got Humpty going but not happy... still puffin smoke... looks like it might be gummed up rings or some sort of internal issue... bit disappointed but you get that... I took it for a blat down the street to see if that would help... its a bit better but couldn't drive it much as its not licensed... was fun to drive though...
Anyways... looks like the engine will be coming out at some stage... might have a little rest from it first though....
Cheers

That steering wheel suits the interior. Good placement of the flag

Got a bit more done today... Fitted the new dash cards... yet again... another not so nice job....
Turned out good so happy with that....
I wanted to fit the bonnet to see what issues I would have there.... I also had to work out the latch as that was in a box in bits also.... it didnt let me down as it was bent and the fit was really yuk!!!
I also wanted the bonnet on so I could see how the grill and surround would match up... or how it wouldnt match up was more the case... every part of this dam car has given me grief but getting towards the end now... I guess thats what happens when you buy a car that comes in boxes....
At the end of the day I sat back and had a look at it... you know... it looks pretty good I think...
Anyway, day by day.... gives me a bit of drive when I see where it is now compared to when I rolled it into the shed....
Cheers
