Right all update time managed to get the driverside sill welded on all cleaned up and zinc 182 primed.

Next job is to seal the floors up and tidy everything up everything ready to get some stone chip under there.

Today went very slow after a drill bit snapped and I ended up drilling into my thumb so I did the day with one hand lol don't think it went to bad.

Wow its still as clean as i remeber! so happy to see it looking nice and tidy. an original. This current build will still look original but with a twist. cant wait to get my seats bolted back in and see it all back together again :)

Right all update time I again work has taken over and I haven't had the time I have wanted for this build, anyway tackled the door skin. This is my first one so let's so how it goes, be nice people.

Here is the door, the sanding mark is me checking what the crack was across the door from the handle, it turned out to be a dent that was filled...


This is the worst of the rust and rot it has now been cut out and repaired. The rest of the frame has been treated and zinc primed

Some tweaking and we should be there

More to follow will some gaps out and then it's on to the other side.

Hey yeah she is coming along mate, just been cracking on since all the stuff with Ned,

The underside is done stone chipped and painted, also done a dry build drilling holes for all my new bits just the doors now that need sorting but she should be going towards the paint shop in a month or so all being well. Fingers crossed.

Thanks, love the look of their cars over there, so we will see how it all goes, cant wait to get her in paint, she looks better just for the inner boot floor, and underside being down, love the colour of this car.

Hi Guys sorry for the lack of reply to this thread.

 

Just a quick update, SHE IS PAINTED!

 

I am rebuilding now, not much more to do she is now running and sounding sweet! I will post some pictures just as soon as my laptop is up and running!
