As a fellow Sidewalk owner, I would love to see this project on the road and what 'jap styling' ideas you have

Thanks for that things have been slow as life has sort of taken over having been let down by daily driver cars this didn't help. What is your sidewalk like? I hope to get started on her soon been collecting parts....

Hi all still here with this one she will be done one day... Just having trouble with where she is stored I can't get to her to work on her at the moment which sucks big time I did however after 18 months off the road go down and start her up... Loved hearing that fletcher exhaust raw again :)

One question though, what do you mean by 'Jap look'? - I did a bit of Googling but couldn't find much - have you got any example/inspiration pictures to show the kind of thing you're aiming at?

Mini is looking good, I'm doing a charcoal sidewalk myself just now with a similiar amount of work. Also based closed to you in Manchester.

 

Who is the big kid in the garage? I spotted a HPI Savage on the side, I have a few myself haha

Cheers for having a look wish i could be updating this as i get through the work but just not worked out like that my aim is to have her back on the road in time for l2b 2016 and IMM 2016 but we will see.

 

By Jap look i am taking some of the tradional Jap mini styling bits and putting it into my car i.e the chin spoiler is popular out there, i have jap style plates, tilt plate carrier, going down on 10's wish is another thing they love over there... Sort of retro/jap/euro mix up really. Just want to do something a little different. I will try and get some pics up at some point of a few ideas :)

Thanks for looking Hiks, nice to here there is another sidewalk in the local area :) My brother in law has a charcoal mini sidewalk also. Would be nice to get a load of sidewalks together at a show one day.

Ah I see, well keep in touch I've got a unit in Rochdale so it might be a bit closer for you. Bit full at the moment with 3 mini's, respray area, MX5 and FTO but we could do a fix it day or something.

Right I have finally saved the mini from and "Friends storage" (not been able to get to it for last 18 months) she is now out and in my garage and will hopefully have some progress. I left you guys last on the passenger side sill that its where I will return and get all sorted.
