I am wanting to do I metro brake conversion on my car but am not sure of everything that I need.

I know I need the calipers disks hoses and flanges off of a metro. Do I also need the metro hubs (the bit that turns) or can I just use the standard mini ones that are already on the car?

Mine is purple, but I have been told that's normal

There's several ways of doing this, you can either use the complete metro assembly including hubs, or I believe minispares sell bolts with metric shafts and imperial threads meaning you can use the mini hubs!

Cheers. I will use the mini hubs then as I have heard the metro ones cause camber problems

They do affect geometry, but I'm not sure whether this can be rectified with adjustable bottom arms.

Some people like the metro hubs as the ball joints don't need shimmed to set up

If the calipers fit on the standard hubs then that has got to be the way to go. The standard hubs were made for the car so why change them if you don't have to
