Ok Im going to give this a shot as i have never done one before :P
Luckily some of it has been done already, i am slowly finding out more and more history about this car.
I know some of you know this car already and has had some cool stuff happen to it in the past, for example.
it was a 998 then a automatic 998, then to a metro 998 LOL, It used to be a flip front (im still yet to see photographs for that yet :P) and it nearly had a honda lump dropped into it and it was painted satin black which it still is (not for long hehe).
I have over 600 photographs so lets see if i can make a good crack on it :)

600 photos?! That is a lot of history! I've only seen it once in the flesh but it certainly looked like a tasty motor from where I was standing (buying an exhaust :teehee:)

Very interested to hear your plans for Bruce, looking forward to the updates ;D

Some where around October 06 2007, Chris from retro-retrims otherwise known as 'Bert998' bought this clubbie as a project and created a project thread on here, there are some good photos in there, but you'll have to read up on there (which im sure most of you have already in the past) and i will post only pictures of that onto here as there are more. :)
Then around November time 2010 he sold it too Simon, known as 'Arnie' on here. (found that out today and ive messaged him to see if i can find out more) then Simon sold it around January 08 2011 to someone else which i am unsure of who that was (i will find this out) :) the person i bought it of, is on here but i cant remember what he is called.

This is Chris's project page that he created some pics are missing

http://www.theminifo...998/page__st__0

and here is Simon's 'for sale' page

My turn! So here goes anyway....

My GT was called "Bruce" amongst other things. Good choice for a Clubby!

The only thing that happened on the way home was the fuel pump pipe decided to come out of the fuel pipe! aha!
only twice but still quite annoying at 12.20am on the motor way in the dark with no torch :P
I wasnt too happy as before i stopped to see what it was I thought it was a buggered buy :D

So since my last mini i sound proofed quite well and i really enjoyed doing it :)
i set to doing it to this mini, so as i started to strip it, i was greeted with rotting sound proofing underneath the carpet (the carpet was a little grotty as well, got no picture of the grottyness though :P)....

So i threw away the carpet, as well as the sound proofing and some other bits, but as a plus i was greated with some good rust free floors! :P
