he made pretty 71 at the wheels and 78 on the flywheel which i didnt think was bad :P
went like a rocket alllllll the way home LOL

I then got given these two dials from some mates
Posted Imagewhich i repainted as they were a little bit worn
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
and then put it all in for another photo :P oh and added a rev counter :P
Posted Image
Posted ImagePosted ImagePosted Image

I was given by a mates dad who used to do up MG's and mini's a set of genuine 1275gt clocks

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

which i may have taken the centre dial out and rewired side dials back in and put them in hehe (told you i was indecisive!)

Posted Image
Posted Image

and then i went and took some photos :P

Posted Image

Posted Imageand picked some under riders up on the way home

Posted Image Posted ImageMUCH BETTER!

i then got this for the dials,

Posted Image

as they were just squiged in there for now :P
but never got round to putting it in :D

And then i got to drive through lots and lots of rain :(

Posted Image
Posted Image

it wasnt fun very frightening i stopped under a bridge and listened to the KING LOL

it was pretty dirty the next day to say the least..

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

i then came up with this idea...

Posted Image

for a 12V socket, a push button and and off and on button for my front mounted radiator but got pushed to the side as i thought it was messy :D

so around that time it was by birthday and i was bought some wheels, we went to midland wheels and i chose some wheels and couldnt decide between these two colours for like 15 mins XD

Posted Image

i went for black of course :P

so i then went to get them fitted a couple of weeks later

Posted Image
Posted Image

With all of them fitted...

Posted ImagePosted Image

after i got home..

Posted Image

decided to give him a good needed clean

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

I also tinted my lights front and back (a later did them again darker)

Whats the fletcher Exhaust like, and was it a 998 before? if so how did it perform as its 3" i understand that its going to kill power just wondering by how much and is it worth the sound? :P

when i got it, iit had another metro 1275 engine. ill post a video in a sec of what it sounds like dude, i love it, it sounds so different to every else, much better than any other exhaust ive heard, for me anyway. i think unless you know the difference between the two which i do, as i have had an rc40 on this engine as well and it only minutely different :P unless you were to go racing, but its plenty fast enough for me, as my engine has bags of torque :)

so the next thing on my list was the badge,

i took the badge off that i had stripped the paint off eailer

first was the red...

Posted Image

then i masked over the top of it after it was dry

Posted Image

then i used a blade and cut the MINI and frame out with it

Posted Image

then painted that carefully

Posted Image

and let it dry on the radiator, i dont think it came out that bad..

Posted Image

Posted Image

I got a GT badge for my b'day as well so mocked that up after painted my grille :)

Posted Image

Posted Image

and fitted..

I also got some spot lights, they were about £25 from halfrauds :P
so i fitted them on the two holes already on the bumper...

mock up..

Posted Image

then i did the wiring which was very easy and fitted them :)

Posted Image
and with covers...

Posted Image

but i wasnt sold with them fitted there so I took them off and gave it a wash

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

and then refitted them below the bumper LOL!

marked up the holes Posted Image

drilled them, and re fitted and put gromet's in the holes in the bumper

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

and then my CV joint went grrrr

when i got it back from repairs, i nearly did hit my wheels on the curb OH so close

Posted Image
Posted Image

then it was snow time!

Posted Image
Posted Image

i thought this was cool :P so i took a pic..
Posted Image

then i bought a rc40 Posted Image
and fitted it...

and i really didnt think that much of it, ive had them before but compared to the other exhaust there is no comparison, theres not that much different in power to be honest unless i was going racing i really couldnt care less, for me its perfect, as my car is very quite in side :)

I prefer the side exit single pipes personally, what was the reason to change to RC40?

yes i do as well, which is why i wanted something similar to the beefiness of DTM but not one :P
cus it was too loud on the inside all time, but now its fine as my car is loaded with loads of sound proofing :)

then i got round to re-spraying the lights front and rear and before you say yes the lights shine through, i have used foil inside so they reflect better :)

Posted Image
Posted Image

and fitted..

Posted Image

Posted Image
Posted Image
Posted Image

i then bought a bottom dash rail as the one previously fitted was made for the radio,

Posted Image

which i then test fitted it..

Posted Image

then i took it off and then set about to painting it

Posted Image
Posted Image

and back it went it after drying :)

Posted Image
Posted Image

at this point i had also taken out the dials to re-wire them better and put some sound proofing foam there :)
