Hi could any one give me some help please?

 

I have a Austin mini 850 1980 and this morning went out to my car this morning and when I started the car I tried to use my wipers and my fan heater and neither would work but all of my other electrics worked.

After I have let the car run for a little while about 5, 10 minutes the heater all of a sudden started to blow air, and then I tried the wipers and they worked to. Could anyone explain why this happened?

My dad reckons I could be a relay or lose wiring?

They run on the same fuse. Possibly a dodgy connection.

turn on the wipers and heater, then have a play with the RH connections on the fuse box, it might also be a build up of dirt etc so i'd remove the fusebox (write down all wiring colours and locations)  and give all the contact areas a clean(remember to clean the rear of the fusebox and the area around the fusebox location)

Thanks for the help guys, car seem to be ok and no issues now. Everything worked fine last night and this morning

I think the ghost may have left now
