Hi guys
You might or might not know I have had loads of problems with much car so instead of rushing I thought why not buy a metro after a few weeks looking I found this and won it on eBay. Not sure on plans for it yet hope to do some basic events in 2014 auto test hill climbs/sprints maybe still undecided. Haven't picked it up getting it on the 14th December cannot wait.
Anyway here's the pictures

So what do you think?
Current spec is
From advert
It is a Standard 1100cc engine that done just over 38,000 miles from new,
The car has been prepared as parts of my sons 4 year training / motor vehicle apprenticeship project and appears like a track car but is mechanically and tuned as standard, although as much as possible of the interior trim has been removed to make the car as light as possible to gain
the most advantaged power to weight ratio.

The Seats (only driver and front passenger are from Honda Civic, Wheels/Rear spoiler from Metro GTA.
Has New bumpers and end caps.
The Exhaust rear section is custom made straight pipe with only front box.
My plans for the car are exterior wise pretty much as it for now
Interior new steering wheel MSA buckets at some point Rollcage New harnesses ands few other little bits
Engine will be replaced in about a year to a year 1/2 time to a 1380 most likely on webers not too sure yet
Think that's about
Cheers Jack

The colour scheme is far too much for me but it looks solid and very nice! Hope you enjoy your new Metro! I saw it on Ebay, bargain :-)

The plan for yours sounds good, and a good base to start with, nice and solid in all the right areas! I'm tempted to go down the K11 micra engine route, cheap, reliable and Eco, with half decent power and a 5 speed box

Yeah I was tempted by conversion but I think its more complicated with entering entering events otherwise a k series 1.4 would go in or micra

Bumpers are my first job on the list, I going to leave the suspension alone for now see how it drives. Does anyone know of suppliers for metro stuff and how much is similar to a mini
