Hi guys, a few were asking of this could become a more regular thing. I have set up a facebook group (with a suitable cheezy name) where I will occasionally organise and lead runs like this one into the countryside in the area. Its for anyone with classic, performance, modified and just plain unusual cars. I thought you'd know where it was. I wonder if the young man in the car can remember where it is? I guess up at The Barrel would be a good spot, but again limited parking if it's busy.

It's along time since Ive seen that photo Stuart! Hope your well! :) Think that was when I was 5-6, so around 98-99? Along time ago!!!

You can see why I want to get it as low as possible after the rebuild! , I've had a few drives in it, and theres nothing quite like it, i love that car! 

The same young man (abeit 15 years older), went there last year with the MPi

Yep. im having car troubles.... again, bob is running on 3 cylinders, and his exhaust is hanging off, im fixing the exhaust tomorrow and the complicated ECU managing system means the rough running is a garage job, so probably in the next 2 weeks it should be sorted.
Next run im expecting to be in 2 months ish, im gunna change the rout a little, just the first leg as we lost people in matlock and rowesly, but the best bit (2nd half) is staying the same.

I will make a new thread on this section of TMF a little closer to the date and when im 100% sure of a date.
Also I have started a new car club up in the area, specifically for runs out in the area, regardless of make or model so long as its a little different to the normal day to day stuff, just fb based and just for the runs (so no chat, endless postings, sales or spam), id recommend you to join if your in the area (and on facebook) as throughout the summer I am hoping to lead them a little  more regularly.  Its free (ofcause), informal and not too pushy on originality, certain makes, condition or cost. Just a bunch of car nuts in the area up for a nice drive out into the peak.
