I'm trying to fit it this morning, but considering I am thick when it comes to anything practical, the instructions aren't helpful.. :/

I didn't have the right instructions! All makes sense now although not been able to fit it as don't have a phone to activate the sim grrr.

Dan at Minivation has been really helpful, replying to my ridiculously early emails on a Saturday morning!

I'm thinking of trying this, worth a go for the cost.

Just installed mine, rang the unit, 2 minutes later sent me gps location within 10 feet of where it actually is. Well impressed

What are the running costs?  Where do you get the appropriate SIM? ( not very mobile savvy in this house)

I've got one fitted it around a year ago, not sure how much credit is left on it but it's still texting back so £10 credit is going far! It's been pretty good apart from the gps module which struggles a little when the mini is garaged but other than that I am happy.

I'm ordering one of these next week -

You can also wire it up to the horn so when the doors are opened without you deactivating the alarm it will make a hell of a noise!

Which one is this?
Sounds like a good idea!
