Back wheels are on :D . There not the one's that will be on when it's finished though. There off the pickup, just using them so I knew where to cut the arches.

Going rate for me to build a z-cars mini. NOTHING :w00t: . I just like building them and after each one they keep getting better. Shame I did my own first :w00t:

Pete, it seems that your rate for labor is exactly what I can afford to pay! When can I schedule your flight? Should I include a ticket for your wife?

Yours in waiting,
Jim :proud:

Nice work by the way.

Tickets for wife, 2 kids and dog and you've got a deal :w00t: . Might take a couple of years so best include a house as well :w00t:

So Pete can i call on you if i get stuck building my first R1 Zcar :w00t: ???? :w00t: :w00t: or does your knowledge have a price? :proud:

PS a BIG question ive been meaning to ask but where do you pick up the harness shoulder straps from?? as far as i can see there’s no place for them to mount on the zcars rear frame?

Both minus's have eyelets welded into the rear cross piece of the Z-cars kit. Pete's pick-up just uses normal seat belts.

You can just have a bar across the main rollcage hoop to loop the harness's around as its stronger than using the original mounts in the back pillar.

Cheers

Pete I'm thinking about making some struts that would bolt onto the top coilover mount (using a bigger bolt) and then would bolt the other end of each strut to the rear valance to stop the arse end wobbling about. What did you do for ades car, I can't find it because his project is a milion pages long now.

Hi Al,
Ade's has a H frame mounted to the rear anti roll bar mount.

The new minus has got one each side mounted from the same point but attaching to the inner wheel arch.

Both seem to keep the back end rigid but whilst the new style keeps the back end clear, Ade's style does give you something to hang the exhaust from.

merci.
also my zcars bulkhead doesn't fit, so will probably be making my own. are the side pieces on ades car riveted to the frame and bonded to the sides of the shell?
