That's a lucas A127 alternator. Why do you want to replace it?

Interested in this as there are modern alternators that do exactly the same and weigh a third the OEM. (Recall Hitachi being mentioned)

All I can tell from the picture is that if you Google for the VR-LC111 number shown it identifies the voltage regulator used and suggests that it is a Lucas part. Perhaps a bigger picture of the alternator showing its overall size and appearance would help more than the printed numbers.
