it is haveing the sportspach arches fitted and an intergrali vent put in the bonnet to vent heat from the turbo.
also it has been noticed by a couple of freelance photo type dudes that take pics for Mini world, mini mag, fast car to name a few. photos have been taken and are being presented to the editors of said mags.
so im well happy that four and a bit years of work has been noticed by outsiders.
im getting her back on wednesday.

When the engine gets hot the oil pressure drops deadly low, so i got a new steal backed one fromm avonbar, also an upgraded clutch just so i could change it while i was there......
after striping the engine to do said jobs i found that the personn i got the engine from did not fit the clutch assembly correctly causing the pressure plate boss to weld it self to the crank. So i got a crank from my spares pile and went about fitting it............
when i took to gearbox off i found that there was quite alot of damage inside.. so i gave guess works a bell and he kindly sorted me out with a very nice box that was far beyond standard. Cheers Guess Works.
so now i am in the process of building her back up again. i hope to have it completed and ready for the showdown, but i wont put my name down yet because if its not ready then i dont go..

And the crank shaft after removing the clutch assembly

The chunk you can see taken out of the crank was deposited on the otherside, the pressure plate boss was welded to the crank due to poor fittment by a suposed tradsman???????
