Hi,

 

I am replacing my SU HS4 carb with a re-conditioned one soon, but I need to know which needle to get for it.

 

It is a 998cc with stage 1 kit, gas flowed and port polished cylinder head, and exhaust sytem.

 

I was thinking AAU??

 

Is there any way to tell what it's got in it now as the previous owner fitted the stage 1 a long time ago?

yes take the needle out its stamped in the section at the top which is retained in the slide
