MPI tank will allow you to run higher boost too but this still depends on your engine spec.

Why does using the mpi tank allow for higher boost ?

Because you need to supply more fuel.

SPI pumps cant run as much fuel pressure as a MPI pump.

I am running a SPI tank at the moment and i can only run a max of about 10psi safely.

Don't forget the most important thing if you are going to go turbo, you will need a good set of brakes.

Why?

really?
Just because you can go faster it doesn't mean you are going to go faster, or are you saying better brakes because of the extra weight of the turbo?!

Everyone seems to think that if you do anything performance enhancing, you'll suddenly be driving a lot faster.

If you think about it, on a duel carriageway, you'll be doing 70 whether you have 35hp or 235hp. The same brakes will stop each car equally (within reason).

Racing and track use are entirely different circumstances altogether, and would probably warrant better brakes.

Why? Servo's only reduce required pedal pressure

It's not about how fast you go, but how quickly you get to that speed.
