Yuk. Don't like that new font they're using. Looks weird. And no wreath? I guess they lost that in the BMW takeover?

The wreaths were only used in the decals and seat badges. The new decals still have wreaths but there are no seats being offered. The font has only slightly changed. It is a bit more vertical and possibly slightly thinner but it was never consistent through different components in the past and I think it is a bit more consistent now.
There are a number of changes in the conversions kits from the originals. For example the S Pack for carbs used to have a 3.44:1 FD included, the exhaust system was by Janspeed (now it's Maniflow) and the air filters were in a retro style box.
At Beaulieu the Cooper stuff was being sold through MiniSport's account. It was interesting seeing Mike Cooper's MINI H15 FUN parked next to Paddy Hopkirk's MINI Y333 EJB.

Paddy Hopkirk's latest F56 Mk3 MINI Cooper S with his Y333 EJB plate spotted at Beaulieu today.

Mike Cooper sold the JCW brand to BMW in 2008.....it was not part of the 1994 takeover of Rover as Rover did not own the Cooper brand.

None of the original kits included a camshaft, except the "Super" kit (MCC 1275SS) as fitted to the Cooper Grand Prix. The earliest kits were for 998cc Minis before the reintroduction of the Cooper in 1990. The 1275 RSP and Mainstream carb Coopers already had (or should have had) a MG Metro cam so these had an advantage before conversion.
