I'm sure if it hadn't been left for 5 - no 6! - years it would be a perfectly servicable car! I like 80s neo classics too.

i have known people similar t how this guy sounds, the more folks try to get them to move stuff, the more they dif their heels in!

im not entirely sure on the situation with that ground, i kinds think if its private land he has just as much right to keep it there as anyone else. i know you say he doesnt move it, but there isvery little difference between a car that never moves, and a car that moves once a month while the old guy gets his pension out.

if its not private property i would say you have more right to get it shifted, for a start if its parked on a road it should have insurance!

parking is becoming a problem in allot of areas, im lucky i have a drive, garage and space to park out front, but i still get mad if soomeone parks outside my house. infact im such a stropy old git about it, i park my missis car on the road even when there is nothing on the drive just to stop other people parking there!

i would add though, despite being a grump sod, if that was parked in my street i would wash it. it does look a mess i agree but a quick wash and it wouldnt look so bad after a quick scrub.

i am god to my neighbours, i push their wheelie bin back on the drives when the bin men leave them all over the place and those kind of things........just dont park outside my house!!! lol

There's really nothing you can do. He owns the land it's on as much as you do. Because there are no marked bays there is no valid argument that it's taking up more than one bay or more than it's fair share. It's only the size of 1 car after all. I know that you perceive that if it were parked further forward there would be more space behind it, but from what I can see it's just been parked considerately leaving enough space to turn across the front of it. What if it were a bigger car? He'd still be entitled to keep it there and it would still take up the same length of road as it does now if it were parked with the front further forward.
