I've considered stealing a little bit of it (a mirror here, a wheel there) until there's none of it left. Although maybe he's keeping it because soon it'll be 30 years old and might not need an MOT. Then when it's 40 no tax... It'll be a bona fide classic.

have a whip round and buy it, then stick it on eBay (after you hosed it down)

You can just about make out in the photos that someone has rather bizarrely cleaned the nearside half of it at some point and not the offside.

I have encountered similar things to this in the past.

I'm afraid there is nothing you can do unless it poses serious health and safety risks.

If he wants to park his car on his share of private land then he is perfectly entitled to.

I know all to well how annoying this is but it's just one of those things.

As has been said, if he is a bit eccentric then he will not appreciate numbers of scrap dealers left on his screen especially as he doesn't see it as scrap.

If it started to get vandalised and attracted all kinds of unwanted people to it then perhaps something could be done.  :shifty:

If i was you though, i would just leave it well alone and just make the best of it because it's been there all these years and doesn't look like it's going anywhere soon.

Does the old guy have any family visit? If so, perhaps you could have a word and see if they can persuade him to consider getting rid?

Good luck man!

If it was me I would push it onto the grass verge, at least it's out the way.

Viking Funeral!! :D

Like most have said though, no matter how many times you ask the owner to do something, they will probably just leave it to rot.  Do they ever come out of their house???  Its The Burbs!!

I've never seen them, and the curtains are usually closed!
