Final drive shouldn't effect the engine power, just how it's delivered to the road, but the lighter flywheel will effect the figures produced. Had a ultra light one once and it reved quick but was useless outside the power band on the events we did.

Final drive does not affect power.
Lightened flywheels don't increase power.
Higher octane fuels don't increase power.

If the rolling road is acurate, you have a pretty decent power figure, but there may be a few more avenues if you still want more...

Consider trying the standard rockers again. You say your cam is a higher lift one, so you shouldn't need high lift rockers as well. I used 1.5 rockers with a Piper 270i cam, and although there was an increase in torque towards 6000rpm, the engine felt lazier at any point below that.

How was the cam timed in? If the cam timing is out, by a few degrees, this can affect power figures, but more importantly, it won't feel as lively as it should.

Ignition timing is critical to getting the most out any engine. The timing set by the MEMS ECU will be on the conservative side but you don't have much choice about that. If you're willing to take the flywheel off, you can carefully remove the reluctor ring and move it around a degree or two, same effect as twisting the dizzy on a pre SPI car.

The bloke that built my engine really knows his minis so I believe the cam is timed in correctly. I spoke to him yesterday about my power figure and he thought it was a on the lower side to what he was expecting but was there abouts. He also said it wasn't built for top hp more about the torque. The ecu I have is the typhoon ecu by specialist components so I believe the ignition timing is set by the tuner on the rollers when he mapped it. He has put a lot of hours in on my car to try to get the best of it and I believe he knows his stuff to, he was recommended to me by specialist components. I'm going to have a power run on another dyno when i get it back just to see if there is much difference from dyno to dyno out of curiosity. Unless something shows itself as being wrong I'm not going to start swapping things to try to get more out of it, im just going to enjoy it for what it is. If I do anything in the future for more power then it will be in the way of a supercharger but that's a few years off yet

Had a man come out to set up the suspension on the mini yesterday at the rolling road. He said the tracking was really far out and now all is set up correctly it should show better results. Tuners hoping to get it on the dyno tomorrow for the final tweeks. Fingers crossed!!!

Run up on the rollers again with the better fuel in it and after suspension set up and got 90.8bhp at the flywheel. Still no torque figures, still no dyno graph.............

Graph looks good, not sure about the losses though the gearbox, seem a bit high compared to mine 14bhp/13ftlb

Those results are worrying. 56ATW doesn't seem right and over a third of the power is lost through transmission. Do you have the AFR graphs?

My thoughts exactly. 89ftlb at 4000 rpm should be a lot of fun but 34.6bhp loss is a littlle excessive right?

I don't know what an afr graph is and the only graph I have is the one above. I am contemplating a power run on a dyno by a tuner that only works with minis, see if there is any difference

Personally I'd never use a roller based rolling road again, only use hub drives.

AFR = Air/Fuel ratio. Gives a good idea of how well it's been mapped.

My car goes to a-series spares next for a lot of electrical work. I've been talking to them about it and they know a tuner with a rr 5 mins away from them that only deal with minis and they consider him one of the best. I thinks it's worth a second opinion

Transmission loss could be affected by low tyre pressures or bad alignment?
