Hi all

I've tried to do a search but couldn't find anything. I may just be looking in the wrong direction?

I have a 1310 rover mini carb

Anyway, I was checking my spark plugs and the two centre plugs were quite black and fouled. The outside two plugs are reasonable ok.

Can't work out how to put pictures on here while I'm on my phone but you probably know what I mean.

I haven't done a compression test yet and won't be able to until Monday. Any ideas what it could be?

Any questions please ask and I'll try to answer

Thanks in advance, Sam

Perfectly normal for a Mini, its to do with the centre cylinders sharing one exhaust port. The centre 2 cylinders run richer than the outer 2. Get some pics up anyway so we can see if its anything excessive.
