Jeeze! Can't believe how long its been since I updated this! The cars barely changed, but its got plenty of miles under its belt!



First long run it had was the london to brighton - ran absolutely perfect. Sits at 70mph all day on the motorway. I went to ML motorsport to have it setup and the news isn't good about the engine. Its got a major compression leak on number 4, all the bores are a bit leaky and the carbs aren't shutting properly. Still runs fine though, and no smoke! Then last weekend I went to the mighty minis race at anglesey in it, so its done nearly a thousand miles in 2 weekends. I even slept in it both times

Tis ok dude. Ill be honest, wasnt keen on the rear lights at first, but on the way to Brighton they looked pimp.

Oh yes! Got home from work, 5 minutes later the minispares stuff came. Big thanks to my cousin for giving me a hand to put it all back together! Reassembled the front end in about an hour, just as we were finishing the insurance came so I shot down to Northampton to sort the tax out. Went out in it when I got back, and its soooo much quieter with the bearings done. They really were totally fubar'd! I went out and got a few quick photos:

as always Looks like just before i got the water bowser stuck in the grass to the passenger side. lol Didn't look that good when i was there.

I took it into the bodyshop before stanford hall to get the cracked wheelarch repaired, and the doorframe where I had to weld it up again. They also ran the polisher over it while it was in, and by god its made a difference! Spent every night the week before stanford hall cleaning it inside and out, only for it to get all watermarked and dusty the night before I got some pictures (read - I got mum with her expensive camera to get some pictures!) before it got all cacked up though
